Anna Graef Feature February – March 2005

Anna Graef – Rooted in Clay & Connection:

We are thrilled to feature the exceptional artist, Anna Graef, whose innovative work has significantly enriched our collective over the years. Anna’s journey in ceramics began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pennsylvania State University, culminating in a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Throughout her career, Anna has been deeply involved in various artistic communities. She was selected as an ASPN resident at the Red Lodge Clay Center and served as a resident artist at La Serra Collective in 2021.

Anna’s recent thesis exhibition, “Mostly Water,” showcases her exploration of themes such as utility, awe, efficiency, time, and whimsy. This body of work reflects her curiosity about the spaces she inhabits and the overlapping modalities within her practice.

We are excited to announce that a selection of Anna’s remarkable pieces will soon be available in our shop, offering an opportunity to own works by an artist whose practice continues to inspire and challenge conventions in the field of ceramics.
