La Serra Collective Design Line
The La Serra Collective Design Line is a tangible entry point to our mission. We believe art has immense power to change us as individuals and to change the world. But first, art has to be more accessible. We created the design line to be affordable through a tiered pricing system and appealing to a broad range of people through the various shapes, forms and colors featured in the line. But accessibility goes far beyond price points and aesthetics, it also goes far beyond what we can offer as a design line. That’s why we also feature artists throughout the year. We hope you will fall in love with their work and invest in them.
What is the Design Line?
The La Serra Collective Design Line features objects designed in-house and then produced using semi-manufactured techniques, including molds and slip casting. This allows us to create hand-made objects and then produce them at a higher scale and offer them at prices that are more affordable.
Why support La Serra Design Line?
Through our tiered pricing system, La Serra Design objects support our mission. They allow us to pay our employees who design and cast the objects a living wage. Oftentimes, these folks are students or recent grads looking to expand their skillsets and continue their own art practices. The design line also supports our community events and engagement.
Who is the Design Line for?
The Design Line is for everyone! We hope it acts as a gateway to engaging with more art, and allows you to curate your home in a way that feels authentic and inspiring.
What does the future hold?
We hope to expand the La Serra Design Line to feature many different types of home objects. We are currently in the process of perfecting porcelain lamps that we plan to release in time for Christmas 2025.
